Welcome to the Galveston County Medical Society (Galveston CMS). For over a century, Galveston CMS has brought together physicians, residents, and medical students from all specialties to amplify the voice of medicine in our community and throughout Texas. Through advocacy, education, leadership, networking, and community outreach programs, Galveston CMS supports physicians and promotes quality patient care.

With a membership of 2,000 and growing, and in partnership with the Texas Medical Association (TMA), which boasts 60,000 members, we serve as a unified voice at both local and state levels. We work to shape healthcare policy, protect the practice of medicine, and address the evolving challenges faced by today’s healthcare professionals.
